Privacy and terms of use

English translation of the Arabic privacy page, provided for reference. Last updated: October 2026. This page covers the website Tajweed Sadaqah. Tajweed Sadaqah uses the Quran Foundation APIs to provide recitation audio.

What we collect

Nothing. Tajweed Sadaqah has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, sell or share personal information, and we do not use anything you do on the site to build profiles or to train AI systems.

What stays on your device

Your browser keeps, on your own device only: your reading settings (text size, colours on or off, repeat choice), the last verse you read, and a saved copy of the Quran text so it works offline. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, or by removing the site from your home screen.

Services involved

• Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it receives your device's internet address to deliver the pages. Cloudflare privacy policy
• Quran Foundation provides the list of recitation audio files. Our server asks for it on your behalf; your device is not identified to Quran Foundation in that request. Quran.com / Quran Foundation privacy policy
• Audio streaming. When you tap a verse, the audio file is streamed to your device directly from EveryAyah, or from the address supplied by Quran Foundation (mirrors.quranicaudio.com); either one receives your device's internet address to deliver it. Audio is not saved on your device by this site.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS, TLS 1.2 or newer). The private key used to request audio is kept on the server and is never sent to your device. We hold no personal data, so there is no user data to lose. If we ever learn of a security problem affecting the site or the Quran Foundation keys, we will report it to Quran Foundation within 24 hours and post a notice on this page.

Your rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Everything kept on your device can be removed by you as described above. If you have any question or request, write to us and we will reply within 30 days.

Terms of use

• Tajweed Sadaqah is free and offered as a charity, as it is, without warranty.
• The Quran text is shown exactly as published by the Tanzil Project and is never altered.
• The tajweed colours are a learning aid. They do not replace learning recitation from a qualified teacher.
• If you notice anything that looks wrong, please tell us so it can be corrected.
